Your tasks will include:
- Continuously identifying risks to product quality and mitigating them in the product design, production process equipment, or production procedures.
- Taking technical ownership of the design and implementation of the complete production flow of the new product.
- Applying tools such as mFlows, D/P FMEA's, CTQ & CTP control plans, Lean methodology, 8D, DMAIC, Six Sigma SPC, MSA G-R&R, value stream mapping, and 4M.
- Designating the production process in ERP routing and maintaining it until handover to large-scale production; creating work and test instructions for operators.
- Designing production tools in the concept phase and guiding CAD engineers in the detailed design phase. Also, managing the production of the required production tools.
- Designing and maintaining M-BOM/E-BOM & production routing and the optimal production sequence, including make-to-stock systems.
job requirements
As an NPI Engineer, you are critical and can systematically analyze and solve problems. You also possess the persuasiveness to guide the customer through necessary adjustments. Additionally, you have a strong sense of responsibility and can handle autonomy well.
Additionally you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or mechatronics.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in product development in the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
- Affinity with vacuum technology, fluid dynamics, contamination control automation, and/or mechatronics.
- Familiarity with equipment/system design.
- Excellent command of the English language.
