Lamers High Tech Systems develops and produces high-tech modules for customers in the semiconductor and vacuum industry. The modules take care of the gas and/or fluid flow management in high-tech machines for our OEM customers. The enthusiastic team of employees at Lamers is looking for improvements and further optimizations of products, systems and processes every day. They don't do this alone. Lamers High Tech Systems is part of the Aalberts Advanced Mechatronics Group. The Aalberts advanced mechatronics Group focuses on engineering and specialist production work for customers in the Semicon & Science market.

As a Functional Application Specialist you help the key users in the company to optimize the business processes and automate them as efficiently as possible. You translate the questions and needs of the organization into functional specifications for the application. By asking questions and exploring the options, you will arrive at the best possible solution through collaboration.

When developing the solution, you are the pivot between the key users in the organization (the customer) and the third-line application support partner (the supplier). You support in specifying, demonstrating, testing and implementing the solution.

You play an important role in the different aspects of application management:

• Issue management
• Change management
• Extending functionality
• Optimization
• Implementations

As a functional application specialist we expect you to

• Have a degree (Bsc or Msc)
• 2-8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the field of ERP systems
• experience with IFS Applications is a plus
• Be able to work well in a high pressure environment, while maintaining a pragmatic approach
• Have strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills. Both in Dutch as English
