Program Manager Innovation

Lamers High Tech Systems is a leading player in the field of transport, management and distribution systems for high-purity gases and liquids, with a strong position in the international high-tech industry. We specialize in the development, engineering, construction, qualification and execution of installations, modules and machine parts for the transport and control of ultra-pure gases and liquids. We serve the semiconductor, aerospace, chemical and pharmaceutical, materials (solar, optics, LEDs, etc.), food and oil & gas markets and have become the preferred supplier of high-tech OEMs.

Lamers HTS is part of the Aalberts Advanced Mechatronics Group (AAM), within Aalberts N.V. Lamers HTS is located in Nijmegen and has two business units; OEM and Installations and there are currently about 550 employees.

In the role of Program Manager Innovation, you are in the lead of several development projects. You work on the latest technologies for both product and process innovation. You manage various teams, often working in multiple departments to realize innovations together. Your job is not only to manage the technical side of the projects, but also to ensure timing, resources, budget control and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Innovation projects are often higly unpredictable. This requires a team with creative developers, but also with product designers, software programmers, buyers and other disciplines. It is your job to create a clear plan to deliver the agreed innovation. Does it always work as expected? Usually not, of course, and that is why the role of project manager is so important to achieve the best results and to properly manage the expectations of all stakeholders.

You are a natural leader. With your experience in change management and performance evaluations, you know how to motivate your team to get the best out of themselves every day. And while you stay focused on the big picture, you never lose sight of the details.

- Bachelor- or Master Degree with a technology background like physics, chemistry, eletrical or mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Project Management, preferably in an production environment
- Proven experience in running innovation or development projects
- Experience in semicon or gass and fluidic handling is desired
- Strong communication skills to operate in a field with many different people, cultures & personalities
- Personal drive to deliver innovation for Aalberts Advanced Mechatronics & its customers
- Fluent in speaking/writting English, but also experience with Dutch & German language is preferred
